Statement of Faith

In order to address questions like
"What do you believe?" and "What kind of Christian are you?"
...here is our Statement of Faith:

We believe in God the Father, Almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth; of the physical and spiritual realms... and in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son Who is our Lord, Savior, Intercessor and the Propitiation for our sins.

Jesus Christ was not created and He is of one substance with the Father. All things were created by Him and through Him.

Jesus Christ descended from Heaven for the salvation of humanity. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus Christ lived a perfectly sinless life and gave Himself up to be tried, tortured and crucified by human beings.

After His death Jesus Christ was buried, and He rose to life on the third day, according to the Scriptures. After appearing to many people, He was witnessed ascending into Heaven where He sits at the mighty right hand of the Father.

We eagerly await His return, when He will judge both the living and the dead and reign in His everlasting Kingdom.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who is God, our Comforter, Teacher and Helper, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is worshiped and glorified as God together with the Son and the Father.

Holy Spirit, the author of the Holy Bible, spoke through the prophets, apostles and holy men who wrote God's unerring message to human beings. The Holy Bible powerfully addresses every aspect of human living, setting the standards for our behavior and beliefs.

We believe in one Holy Church, comprised of all who are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. This Church is the Body of Christ, Who is its Head.

There is one Faith, one Hope for salvation, one Baptism and one God from Whom we are separated by our sinfulness. There is one Way to be reconciled with Him, which is by His grace, in repentance toward God through faith in the cleansing, sacrificial, fully sufficient blood of Jesus Christ.

We eagerly await the return of Jesus Christ, our Light and our Life.
